Cy: Ar ddiwrnod llachar, roedd y Promenâd yn Aberystwyth yn ferw o fywyd.
En: On a bright day, the Promenâd in Aberystwyth was buzzing with life.

Cy: Roedd plant yn chwarae gyda baddonau traeth plastig, a chyplau yn mwynhau hufen iâ wrth gerdded lawr y ffordd.
En: Children were playing with plastic beach toys, and couples were enjoying ice cream while walking down the path.

Cy: Nid oedd dim yn rhwystro’r heddwch tan i rywbeth rhyfedd ddigwydd.
En: Nothing disturbed the peace until something strange happened.

Cy: Wrth i’r môr dawel adfywio, daeth gwrthrych anhysbys i apogee, gan lanio’n drwm ar y traeth ger Aeron, dyn ifanc, brwdfrydig gyda diddordeb ym meganwaith y môr.
En: As the calm sea revived, an unidentified object reached apogee, landing heavily on the beach near Aeron, a young, enthusiastic man with an interest in the workings of the sea.
