The Mystc field is what? As we have said, our universe came out of the primordial consciousness before space and time. Therefore, limitless consciousness is the source of all, and because everything came from this one, we are part of it. So although the theory of the Big Bang may be true, it fails to answer the other questions we posed. In 1926, Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of the Centers for Spiritual Living, wrote, we are surrounded by a universal mind into which we think this mind in its original state, fills all space with its presence. It fills all space, and it fills the space man uses in the universe. It is in man as well as outside him. He goes on to write the law through which man operates is infinite, but man appears to be finite. That is, he is not yet evolved to complete understanding of it. When he talks about universal mind, he's talking about consciousness.
(01:26)
This law is not personal and neither does it care who uses it or what it is used for. The law then is a blind force, and we need to be careful not to misuse it, but we should use it constructively. The law sometimes called the law of mental equivalence must never be overlooked. The subjective state of thought, which is the sum of a person's thinking and knowing, determines what is going to happen. It is the medium between thought and limitless consciousness. That is the subjective state or the unconscious mind is the medium between conscious thought and limitless consciousness. So the use of the laws should follow a line of inquiries like this. Do the things that you want lend themselves to a constructive living? Do they express a more abundant life, Rob or harm? No one create, no delusion, but instead, do they express a greater degree of livingness? If they do, then the universe is for us and must be behind us. If it is money, stocks, dresses, shoes, or food, all of which come from the same source, there can be nothing that denies us this greater possible living.

Mysticism is a spiritual, or philosophical belief and practice that involves experiencing a direct, personal, and intuitive connection with divinity, truth, or ultimate reality.
As religion is the politics of spirituality, mysticism is often characterized by the pursuit of an intimate and transformative union with the divine or a higher power.
Mystics may use various practices or techniques, such as meditation, contemplation, prayer, and rituals, to deepen their spiritual experiences and access deeper levels of consciousness or awareness. The mystical experience is typically described as beyond ordinary sensation and intellect, involving a sense of oneness, ecstasy, or ineffable knowledge. Mysticism is found in various religious traditions, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Sufism, but it can also be present in secular or non-religious contexts.

In the world of science, everything began with the Big Bang. From there, everything known as matter was created and burst forth. The big question is where did it come from? What was its source into what did it explode?

Neuroscience and consciousness to begin this segment on neuroscience and consciousness. We must understand, and it has been mentioned in other videos in the class, that current neuroscience is no different from any of the other sciences in that it assumes matter is primary and consciousness is secondary.

In this episode, we slightly change our focus to address the question of why rules or laws exist at different levels of being, from moral commandments to personal growth guidelines to spiritual principles.
At certain levels of being, moral commandments or directives are important because they provide a framework for individuals to understand and navigate societal expectations and norms. Moral rules help establish a minimum standard of behavior that promotes cooperation, fairness, and respect towards others. They aim to prevent harm, ensure justice, and maintain social order.

If we would just make a commitment to spend as much time doing inner work, meditating, praying, talking about spiritual things as we do shopping or looking on Amazon or the internet or whatever, could you imagine what would happen to our life? It would be amazing. I'm not saying don't shop and don't do all that. I'm saying balance it with going within, balance it with the gifts of spirit.

In the last podcasts, we explored the possibility we live in a dream world in some ways similar to dreams you have at night. I also suggested that is aware of both dreams. That something we offered is awareness.
So, let's probe this with greater depth.
Contrary to the materialist view, suggesting we consist of physical matter and our minds are formed from this matter, there is another perspective.

Astronaut Edgar D Mitchell came back from space with a message.
“It began with the breathtaking experience of seeing planet earth floating in the immensity of space-the incredible beauty of a splendid blue and white jewel floating in the vast, black sky. I underwent a religious-like peak experience, in which the presence of divinity became almost palpable, and I knew that life in the universe was not just an accident based on random processes.”

What does it mean to be spiritual or what is spirituality. Is there such a thing as being spiritual?

You already feel it — that quiet knowing beneath the noise of your daily life. A sense that something deeper is running through everything, waiting for you to turn toward it.
Most people…
The Mystic Living Press podcast is where that feeling finally gets the space it deserves. This is not spiritual entertainment. This is not someone telling you to think positive and watch your problems dissolve. This is real exploration — the kind that changes how you wake up in the morning, how you sit with uncertainty, how you meet the sacred hiding inside an ordinary Tuesday.
Whether you've been on a spiritual path for forty years or something just cracked open inside you last month, these episodes meet you exactly where you are. No jargon. No performance. Just the honest, sometimes uncomfortable, always liberating work of discovering what's been true about you all along.
Each episode weaves together guided meditations, contemplative teachings, and reflective essays that bridge the ancient and the immediate. We draw from consciousness research, mystical traditions, and decades of lived practice — because real spiritual depth isn't built on ideas alone. It's built on experience. Your experience.
This is for the part of you that knows there's more. The part that's done settling for a life that looks fine on the outside but feels thin on the inside. The part that's ready to stop reading about transformation and start living inside of it.
That part of you brought you here. Trust it.
