Originally this episode was to included Stanton T. Friedman for a round table discussion on the debunkers of ufology. Instead we begin by remembering and honoring the late Stanton Friedman for his unparalleled work in ufology; who he was as a person and a family man; as well as his impact on history and his influence on researchers of the UFO enigma. Kathleen who worked on three books with Stanton and became very close to him shares heart warming personal memories, as does author Peter Robbins. Later in the show we discuss each guest's personal experience with debunkers like Philip Klass, how Stanton Friedman handled debunking, and how they all managed to navigate the personal attacks by supposed skeptics. Mike Rogers of the Travis Walton case had quite the entertaining way of dealing with the antics of Philip Klass. Mike Rogers explains his theory on what actually may have been an important causal factor in the 1997 Phoenix Lights incident, undermining previous theories as to what the UFO was. His evidence driven explanation of an environmental wind current factor published by MUFON has already ruffled feathers. Mike, however still leaves the door open that the object seen in the sky could still have been an E.T. craft. Jennifer Stein, director of the documentary "Travis" was unable to join live, but was included via a prerecorded conversation.

In the first hour Gayle Beatty shares about her deep woods paranormal adventures, as well as local "harassment" by some strange creatures in NY state - including Bigfoot. In the second hour Sheryl Costa fascinatingly breaks down her analysis of 146,800 UFO sightings. She does so without bias and tells it like it is. What you thought you would expect from a comprehensive study of UFO sightings is stranger than you think, and defies common sense.

FIRST HOUR GUEST:
Gayle Beatty - is the mother of four and grew up on the base of Stising Mountain in the town of Pine Plains Ny. One night Gayle decided to go solo camping up behind her house. She was always a nature lover as well as a fisherman and Hunter and had spent countless hours on that mountain. She set up her tent just before dark and settled in for the night when she heard the sound of a large owl coming from a tree above. A few minutes later Gayle heard the most God Awful scream! It was so loud that it vibrated in her chest. She had never heard of Bigfoot and had no idea what kind of creature could make that sound. She managed to get up enough nerve to bolt out of her tent and down a steep ravine and get to the safety of my home. Years later Gayle was watching the show Finding Bigfoot on TV and heard that same frightening sound. She knew then what she had encountered. In January of 2011 Gayle started investigating the Bigfoot Phenomenon.


SECOND HOUR GUEST:

Cheryl Costa is an upstate New York resident and a NY native, who saw her first UFO at age twelve. She’s a veteran of two military services: Air Force and the Navy. She’s a retired Information Security professional from the Aerospace Industry. Since 2013, Cheryl has written the wildly popular UFO column “New York Skies” for SyracuseNewTimes.com. In March 2017, Cheryl and co-author Linda Miller Costa released their UFO Statistics book "UFO Sightings Desk Reference: United States of America 2001-2015." Their book presents data and analyzes trends for 121,000 USA UFO sighting reports between 2001 -2015. Cheryl was named “Researcher of the Year” at the 2018 International UFO Congress. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Empire State College.

Guests Kevin Titus and Thomas Reed | The Reed UFO Incident made International headlines in 2015 when it became the Nation’s first UFO encounter to be officially inducted into the archives of the United States, as "Historically Significant and True". This official induction consisted of two State Citations by Massachusetts Governor, Charles D. Barker, and Lieutenant Governor Karyn E. Polito. The Massachusetts Historical Society also issued an official State induction in February of 2015. Following this first of a kind entry into State’s antiquity, a 5000-pound commemorative Monument was unveiled. The induction and the unveiling of the UFO Monument graced the front page of the Boston Globe, and was covered live by ABC News NY. Judge Kevin W. Titus of the 30th district court later sealed the records by Governor Charles D. Baker and the Historical Society, declaring them uncontested lawful documents. In 2018, the Historical Marker Database added the UFO Monument to its library of official landmarks.
