Mystic Lounge

Joining me is Reuben Fast Horse! Reueben was born on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, and is a traditional Lakhota singer, dancer, flutist, drummer, craftsman and storyteller. Ancient, primitive and mystical rituals sought to invoke the supernatural world to the natural through music, dance and myth. Like dreams the songs, the costumes, the stories and the form of the dance contained messages coming from deep within the unconscious mind. Dreamstate is the ecstasy of experience in this sense nightmares are the ecstasy of fear. These often surreal, lucid and mysterious episodes are played out in our minds and communicate a language of symbols that awaken us to the spiritual potentialities of our collective being.

Our inspirations derive from myths & dreams where the divine mingles with humanity. The new mythology of our time is already here, the eye of reason, not of my economics, the eye of reason, not of my religion, the eye of reason, not of my linguistics, the eye of reason, not of my nationality, the eye of reason.

When you see the world as a part of yourself you will take care of it. When you see yourself as part of the world you will be taken care of.
When you see the earth from the moon there are no lines of division of states or nations.
We are the earth, we are the consciousness of the earth........these are the eyes of the earth and this is the voice of the earth. Fast Horse is an accomplished educator and Lakotah language instructor who has lectured on Native American culture to audiences in the United States and abroad.

Joining me is the author of “Don’t Just Sit There, Do Nothing”, Jessie Asya Kanzer. Jessie was born in the Soviet Union as Asya Bronfman, a descendant of Holocaust survivors living in a communal apartment with four households, one toilet, and a rickety old bathtub in the middle of the kitchen. Her family sought asylum in the U.S., and after awaiting their fate in Austria and Italy, they finally made it to Brooklyn in 1989.

As an 8-year-old refugee who only spoke Russian, Jessie (or “Asya” then) yearned to fit in. She changed her name and much about herself. Later though, she experienced depression, an eating disorder, and all sorts of existential problems. She pursued Hollywood fame, men, and the American Dream, but always fell short.

Until she stopped.

With the help of the Tao Te Ching she rediscovered herself and her innate power, and she learned to chill. Her book, Don’t Just Sit There, DO NOTHING, will help others do the same.
Jessie lives with her husband and daughters in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She considers herself an expert in Doing Nothing.

My guest this week is, Vuk, the host of TRACING OWLS podcast. Vuk covers many topics, grounded in biological studies, including his earnest belief that there is adequate evidence to suggest that planet Earth is a whole living organism, with metaphysical, as well as “alien” implications. Vuk allows for speculation, but ultimately believes that the Gaia theory is grounded in hard science. Vuk also believes that the "Mother Earth" intelligence manifests in paranormal encounters - psychic projections to perhaps humble the human ego. Get ready for a wild ride!

“Intending to shatter your illusion of "Alien", I address humanity's perpetual tendency to hop onto the extraterrestrial explanation for a plethora of phenomena which may have a more Earthly, or even human, origin! Why do we assume crop circles are made by aliens, when they appear on freakin crops...on the ground!? Why do we look up to the stars to show us illusions of our future potential? And why do we tend to seek higher intelligence out there, when it is already here with us?” https://linktr.ee/darwinsdeviations

Joining me is Jaci and Bill Kousoulas to discuss their new book BRIDGING THE TRAGEDY: Silver Linings in the Mysterious Ohio River Valley. In 2020, Phenomenology Research Professionals began developing a plan to conduct a scientific study about the after-effects of the Silver Bridge Disaster, the associated paranormal phenomena, and the good things that have come to pass in the region since the late 1960s. Having commuted to Point Pleasant regularly since 2016, we had already developed several relationships in the community. After a COVID-defiant 2020 trip, we constructed the outline of the present study, an investigation of the 1966-67 happenings to learn about the good outcomes that developed from the unexplained phenomena and the Silver Bridge Disaster.

Bill’s life-long interest in the paranormal began in the late seventies with the original Project UFO series that aired on Sunday night television. In 2003, he was introduced to The Mothman Prophecies movie, and it truly changed my life. Since then, he has read nearly all of John Keel’s research, as well as the works of similar authors including Gray Barker and Andy Colvin. Since 2016, Bill & his wife Jaci have visited Point Pleasant regularly, and they become friends with several area residents, including the late Carolin Harris, co-founder of the Mothman Festival. Bill holds a doctorate in psychology, with a focus on post-traumatic growth. Jaci is a retired USPS Postmaster and a current business owner/operator. She specializes in research, data analytics, and “connecting the dots” between intuition, perception, and reality. The couple resides in Northern Illinois.

Joining me is Mario Gongora, host of the podcast, YES, THIS HAPPENED. Mario spoke about his own UFO encounters and the experiences growing up that instilled his interest in the paranormal. We discussed everything from evil elves and ghosts, the Grabadora, to glowing underwater craft.

What happens when a Ouija board spells out the word “danger” on its own? Or what if you randomly come across a seismic, paranormal, spiritual, or outright creepy event you can’t quite understand (or even believe really happened)?

“Yes, This Happened,” is a paranormal show detailing supernatural accounts from real people who swear that what they experienced really happened. These stories originate and are collected from the Caribbean, Mexico, and all of Latin America. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yes-this-happened-esto-si-ocurrio/id1638420411

Mario Góngora, is a professional VO talent based out of Florida and Texas. He's currently the voice for Fox Channels Latin America, two regional TV networks, several national and international IVR systems (including Disney+ Latin America), and many retail national spots currently on TV and social media. In recent years, he’s been the official national Hispanic voice of Sprint, Wendy's, Ford, and Univision's UniMás Network.

This was a fun chat with Nick Redfern discussing his new controversial book, HOW ANTIGRAVITY BUILT THE PYRAMIDS. Nick is accustomed to tackling subjects that mainstream academia have already pronounced solved, but for the loose ends that researchers like Nick demand answers to.

Redfern argues it was not literally music and whistling that somehow raised stones the weight of dozens of modern-day cars into the skies above. Such a thing is not possible. But music and whistling have one thing in common: sound. Acoustics. Almost certainly, acoustic levitation was at the heart of these incredible feats.

Nick Redfern is the auchor of more than sixty books. He has been on many television shows, Including Travel channel's in Search of Monsters, History channel's Unexplained, Ancient Aliens and Monster Quest; SyFy channel's Proof Positive, and the National Geographic channel's Paranatural. Nick is a regular guest on Coast to Coast AM. Nick's blog: World of Whatever at http://www.nickrecfernfortean.blogspot.com

Thank you Debbie!
