This is not a Christian podcast, though it has roots in Christianity, nor is it a conversion exercise. It's simply taking a story and looking at its aspects in detail. I hope you enjoy listening and it brings you what you need this year. Please join in the conversation on my instagram @mystical_drifter where we'll be sharing our reflections together.

Welcome to my Advent Calendar 2021! I've been writing reflections on the Nativity story for the last 4 years and this year my friend asked me to do it again as a podcast. Every year the reflections evolve and while some may stay the same and resonate one year, the next year they may not so I rewrite them. It's my birthday this week and so I've been thinking about ways in which I might mark the occasion. I'm not one for huge celebrations every year, unless it's a significant number of course, but I am one for marking my 35th turn around the sun! I go through a couple of ideas and reminisce about childhood birthdays and what I might incorporate into my grown up birthdays.
