It’s time for another soundscape! This month I invite you to experience a ten minute sit in my urban back garden. There were surprisingly more natural sounds than I expected and was generally quieter than you might think - though of course there’s the odd siren and car sound here and there!

We take a look at the many many ways you can foster a spiritual practice by using the free resource that is all around us - nature! As I live in England most of my seasonal suggestions are based on the English seasonal calendar but I encourage listeners to look at the seasons where they live and how you can deepen your connection to the world around you in whatever the weather may be!

This week we have a go at a practice which is associated with St Ignatius called Sacred Imagination. I read to you a short section from Roald Dahl’s, Matilda and we aim to imagine ourselves into the story and find out what it is trying to tell us about ourselves or our current situation.

Today we explore the similarities and differences between wishes, prayers (a particular type of prayer) and manifestation as a spiritual practice. What do you want from your life? Maybe these methods can help you figure out and get the life of your dreams!
