StepSisters* chronicles the lives of female best friends as they move to a new phase in their lives while trying to hold on to their friendship amidst the temptations and traditions that await
them at a prestigious fictional historical black college. Utilizing the popular and long-established art form of stepping and sororities as the backdrop StepSisters* portrays themes of friendships, betrayal, redemption, racial loyalty and sisterhood with a contemporary twist. Anderson’s talent for writing was first realized as a high school junior when he wrote his first play for drama class.His genre of work includes dramas,
romantic comedies, mysteries, action, suspense, spiritual, sci-fi and political dramas. Anderson’s writing demonstrates various facets of humanity, the interchangeable beliefs of society, behaviors and concepts of relationships
Jennifer was raised in Paterson, New Jersey. Her credits include Madea’s Family Reunion, Drum Line, Meet the Browns, Definition of a Man and All Star Comedy Jam: Live from South Beach. She has studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop dance during her youth. Jennifer has also worked as a contract choreographer in college, while studying Pre-law. Her hobbies are dancing, physical training, writing poetry, and screenwriting.
Angela Phillips is a former starting point guard for the University of Kentucky and Indiana State University. She has appeared in Keeping Up with the Jones, Ice Cube/Jeezy "Got my locs on" music video featured actress, ESPN commercial and lead in the independent film, Remembrance.
