Grief is from an ongoing sadness that the body is not working through, or a sudden feeling of not being able to cry or not wanting to accept the loss.  The later is known to induce a feeling of a ball or blockage in the throat with a heaviness on the chest that develops over the following days.  This is an ignatia state and why ignatia is called the funeral remedy.  Other sates like tiredness can be helped by phos.acid. and other acid ‘burned out’ remedies.  This narrative looks at the different experiences of loss and the states of grief they induce.
