Chronic exposure to substances that can be avoided is not the same thing as chronic disease.  When we are exposed to a substance and need a remedy that remedy cannot replace the need for a chronic constitutional.  When reading aphorisms 76-78 of Hahnemann’s, ORGANON OF MEDICINE, Edition 6 we see in aphorism 77 those exposures that can be avoided and if left to become chronic may become impossible for the body to heal.
