Her family and cultural background is a huge part of why she is highly disciplined as a student and just a person in general. Manessa, who graduated from Rutgers this past May, 2017, explains what she had to deal with being a woman of color in a field that is predominantly filled with white men. None the less, she was able to earn herself, a lot of experience while also landing a well respected career after college.
