Katya Nicholas is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach and portrait photographer based in New York City. 

Katya believes that we are all unique, but we forget this or stop believing in ourselves, because we listen to someone’s critical voice. She believes that once we recognize our own beauty and talents, there will be no room for jealousy, envy, competition, or any other destructive negativity.

Katya learned photography at age 9, and after many years of trying different types of photography, she realized that photographing people is what brings her the most joy. Since then she’s been working with everyday women to bring out their unique, inner beauty.  

As for CliftonStrengths, Katya took the assessment in 2013 and became passionate about the strengths-based psychology that focuses on what’s right with people, rather than what’s wrong with us. Having realized that she’s been having coaching conversations with people throughout her entire life, it was only natural for her to get certified as a CliftonStrengths coach. 

Katya wishes for everyone to reacquaint themselves with their unique talents, strengths and beauty, because once we do that, we become limitless and brave.

Ava Ghiotti’s love of entrepreneurship stems from her passion for creative storytelling, design and the challenges and logistics of brand development.  She often credits problem solving with keeping her on her toes and the contributing factor of her growth as a business owner.  Ava is the founder and creative designer behind Merchants of Beauty.  Combining her love for storytelling, design, and meaningful objects she set out to elevate the candle experience.
