  • To Carry A Cloud
Let’s form a dyad in honor of all soul-mates. We can focus on the forthcoming of July–and the limiting of speed.
Watch birds fly over their own water, and lasso clouds down to our height so we can walk around with them. This will remind us to float. Force us to examine the only picture that matters–the big one. Breed moments of meaning. Create a life worth feeling. Worth filming. Be prepared to scream. To live. To fly. Make sure “everything” knows how much it means to you. Be sure of your beauty, all of it–because in the end, this is all you have. This is all you needed all along.

  • Drop Me Dead, Gorgeous
    Just drop me dead, gorgeous.
It’s the last thing left to do. The constant lull of your beauty never leaves. Where are you? You’ve left the chess board but you never stopped moving me. But it is time to say check, now–and I am the last king cornered–funny how the knights move in L’s. Knock me down hard blue eyes, because I believe in checkmate.

  • Monopolizing My Genes
I think someone’s been playing monopoly with my genes again. Anyhow, as I was saying it: It's yr air... Or your shadow
I could never choose between the two who would
Idk it sings into me it doesn't hurt when I hear it
    The
Feathers were never included but I'd buy them anyway where have all the gentlemen gone I have their dapper dan. I think somebody’s been playing monopoly with my genes again... I can't play pool, and their leading me on with lipstick red red everywhere making a bloody trail swirling whirling never mind my morning it's none of your business I certainly MIGHT have your affairs in order dont forget this, Adèle, I've worked my entire life for you.

  • And I’d Choose You
    And I'd choose you
    Over immortality.
    Skeleton to skeleton--
I like the sound of breaking.
But I swear I'm good to bones.
    Factor in the werewolf,
He wont howl unless we do.
    Send in the salutations
    Send them some of me
Part mermaid in a glass pitcher
Pour me out if that's what you're
Gonna do. I'd rather drain than
Draw some card. I'm not afraid of karma. I'm afraid of what comes after.

  • My Mantra
The bright light is honorably mentioning to me that THIS light shouldn't be much longer. Apparently I have what it takes to hypnotize, whatever that means. I like the sound of it, so I repeat it to myself three times until it becomes my mantra.

  • I’ll Never Be Done Here
Lately I’ve been missing someone I've never met.
I’ve been... chasing Ohio name plates
On highways while listening to something far, far away
Feeling my past invade my throat on their way to the stars
And my tears falling off my cheeks like nothing had ever happened
Eyes redder than the weeping willows that fill what's left of my second heart
    And I'm crying.
And I'll be crying for a little while
    I'm not done here
    I'll never be done here.
