Stacie McCoy is a compassionate divorce and co-parenting life coach with over 25 years of professional family support experience—and a pretty interesting divorce and co-parenting story of her own. She joined The Grit Show today to share her stories and truth and some of the work she does to help women deepen their relationship with themselves and be more intentional about living the next chapter of their life. The conversation touched on the gravity of having your life and purpose shaken by monumental shifts like divorce and the importance of self-care. Stacie gave us the naked truth of what things feel like in the depths of divorce, even when things look like photo-shopped perfection to the outside world. The incidence of divorce is on the decline in the US, but we all know someone who is experiencing or has experienced it, and this episode is a valuable reminder of the many layers of impact. For individuals going through divorce, especially those with kids, her challenges and experience will resonate. Walking away with some of her favorite self-care snacks and the importance of fitting them in-regardless of dosage- will be beneficial for us all.
Following some soul searching after a health scare, Stacie left the non-profit world and is now on her own doing what she loves most: helping women to heal and fall back in love with their life after divorce—without messing up the kids. She is on a mission to help others filter out the pain, bitterness, and regret of divorce by walking them back to their heart’s wisdom. Stacie lives in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, with her two amazing children and her 2 pudgy guinea pigs.
Stacie is currently available for 1:1 private coaching sessions and for group coaching via her new 6-week group coaching program, The Divorce DIstillery.
This program is designed to give clients the tools and support to help them move through divorce and co-parenting with deeper clarity, ease, compassion, and with a new sense of resiliency and purpose. Most importantly, it's designed to help clients fall back in love with life after divorce--and to become their own best partner. The one they truly deserve.
