Iain Lee joins Watko to talk about his top three name drops and explains why he's bringing back the 11 O'Clock Show.
Best known for his bold, funny and often unpredictable appearances on TV and radio, Iain blurs the line between comedy, confession and chaos. A true broadcasting one off.
He first became a household name in the late 90s as the host of Channel 4's 11 O'Clock Show, since then he has featured on many shows including RI:SE, Thumb Bandits and Cats Make You Laugh Out Loud.
Alongside his extensive TV career he also forged an unforgettable career in UK radio, featuring on XFM, LBC, Absolute Radio and TalkRADIO.
Iain is now a qualified counsellor and works with adults to help with all manner of issues from mental health to addiction, but also continues to create engaging content for his legion of fans and does a podcast with his partner Katherine Boyle called 'Too Many Cats'.
Katherine and Iain met whilst working at BBC Three Counties Radio, they also host shows on Patreon.
This podcast was recorded before Iain Lee's return to the stage with a show celebrating his 30 years in show business called Iain Lee: Imposter Syndrome.
The show was a great success and he now has another show lined up in February 2026 at the Rondo Theatre in Bath with more dates expected to be announced soon.
He has also announced a show with his former comedy partner MacKenzie Crook which is taking place on Sunday 9th November at the Mockingbird Cinema in Birmingham.
