John 11v55-12v8

This story feels like an invitation to ponder and reflect on the fact that Jesus was not a victim of circumstance. While his friends remained mostly in the dark about where things were headed, Jesus was clear and was intent on following God to and through that place. Perhaps it serves to remind us of the simple but demanding task of trusting Jesus. We don't have to have perfect clarity and cunning strategic planning, we can rest in God's leadership and our commitment to play whatever role He has for us in His grand story.

We decided to start sitting down with members of our worship team to hear more about their story! If you've come to a Sunday gathering at Narrate, chances are you've seen Theresa Anderson singing, playing the keyboard, or both! Exciting news! Our children's pastor, Lexsey is expecting another baby! Lexsey does a fantastic job leading our Narrate Kids program and will be taking her maternity leave in July. Hear about her plan to keep things running smoothly while she is away and about available volunteer positions if you feel called to help out.

Scattering to serve our community is one of Narrate's core values. One of our main scattering events each year is Helena Ales for Trails which raises money to build new trails. Adam sits down with Chase Krywaruchka & Chris Charlton of Phat Tracks Trail Company to talk through the Scratch Gravel Trail Project where the last two years of Ales for Trails proceeds have gone.
