Reflecting on Mary's story, it becomes clear she had to be motivated by something other than her own will. How might God be inviting you to step toward vocation?

Being a portable church means Narrate relies on a community of people who show up to make the church a reality whether that's with set up, making coffee, greeting, singing in the band, or attending the service. This week Adam explores how Moses is yet another person who started by telling God how he wanted to serve him, but in the end learned to surrender to God's call for him. The same could be said for Job, Mary, John the Baptist, Stephen in Acts, the disciples, Elizabeth, and a host of others. All, in the end, learned to allow God to do the sending and develop the strategy. What if God has a long, glorious history of calling people to live lives other than their first choice?
