Continuing the second week of the series, Adam talks about his journey with centering prayer and then asks Hannah about her experiences during Q&A sessions. 

How do we become the kinds of people who approach confusion with less fear, anger, and suspicion?

If Confusion + Attention = Growth, how can we become more hospitable toward and less afraid of  confusion? What if it starts with wanting God's will more than our own?

This is week 1 of a new series titled "Confusion + Attention = Growth"

What would it look like to live from a more surrendered self? Not a self that is defeated, depressed or disinterested but a self genuinely striving to approach life from a more trusting, open-handed, and relaxed place?

Thank you for joining us this Christmas Eve! This week, Adam looks at the Christmas story with the question of "Before Mary was able to think about the myriad implications, was she confused?"

How might the Christmas story encourage us to act more hospitably toward confusion?

What if confusion, albeit difficult, is often the precursor to breakthrough?

What if this also reminds us to not rush too quickly through confusion?  

In the final week of the series, Adam digs into fear. 

To what extent is the presence of fear a vice and to what extent is the presence of fear a virtue?
When is fear a bad thing, and when is it a good thing?
What if the call to "fear not" is intentionally and inextricably linked to the call to be a servant of God and others?

In the second week of The Humble King series, Adam spends more time in Isaiah and the songs of the suffering servant. 

What if it's not about your job or your role in life but about how you show up? 

What if looking at one of Jesus' favorite portions of the Hebrew Bible can help us better understand him and what it means to be his apprentice? What happens when we view God through Jesus's eyes?

In the first week of The Humble King series, Adam spends time in Isaiah 40 to help explore these questions. 

As we head into Thanksgiving week, Adam asks us to spend some time thinking about what we can learn from this season and where there might be opportunities for growth. He spends time in Proverbs 1 to help with these questions. 

He also makes a couple observations:

• Wisdom is readily available to everyone, but must be sought
• Pursuing wisdom is a team sport

This week we had the opportunity to hear from Tommy Moore discussing forgiveness and letting go along with a Q&A session at the very end. What is forgiveness and what is it not?

Here are some questions to take with you this week:

• Who is someone you need to forgive? What does that look like?
• How might some of your current relationships be impacted by the wounds of your past?
• Who is someone that you need to ask forgiveness from? (Matthew 5:23-26)
• What’s something you need to forgive yourself of?

This week Adam explores Matthew 6:9-13 to take another look at The Lord's Prayer as a daily, throughout the day, train of thought.

This week Adam continues The Truth is in the Tension series by talking about texts that make him squirm. Romans, 1 Timothy, and 1 Peter all contain passages that speak to how we interact with authority.

• What if we committed to praying first for our local, state, national, and international leaders regularly?
