This week Dr. Dan Brunner from George Fox Evangelical Seminary challenged us to think about how we talk to God. Listen as Dan suggests that our emotional responses to God say much about how safe we feel with Him.

When it comes to making, saving, giving and spending money, what is the goal? What is the moral compass, the organizing principle through which we can define all our financial dealings?

Money is a funny thing - we want it, we need it, but we hate to talk about it. For good reason. So many philosophies and agendas. Getting Balanced is about applying the principles of physical balance to our finances. Ultimately we discovered that God does not want anything from us, He wants something for us. Said another way, God does not want to get our money, He just does not want our money to get us.
