What if God is as interested in who you are as He is where you're going when you die?

The fact is that in much of the Bible, God does employ carrot and stick strategies. If it is true that these strategies do not work but God used them, what does that say about God? What does it say about Jesus? How are we to find our motivation? How are we finding it currently?

What does intimacy require? What are the characteristics of great relationships?

What do we do with the anxiety that comes with our unfulfilled desires?

Having discovered that robotic love is the unfortunate result of desires turning into expectations, the next question becomes: "How do we move things out of the expectation box and back to the desire box?"
