Nasanta’s Reel

This episode is from a brand new series called Struggling in the Suit.  It has been launched by a dynamic young man of God called Perry Cummings. Perry shares a powerful testimony about his struggles of falling into sexual temptation during his university journey. He expresses how he fell and how God has been restoring him. Perry now has a beautiful daughter, and he has been recently using this dynamic testimony to inspire others. It is his hope that this testimony will help others to recover from whatever struggle they may be having in their suit.

This is part 2 of my collaboration with Nia- Cerise, Crowned In Faith. The first segment outlines the two times that I've gotten high from marijuana consumption. It also breaks down what drove me to the point of indulging in these acts. Throughout this segment, the main aim is to highlight that no matter what we go through in life, God is still willing to use us despite how messy we might think we are. In addition to this, the first story about when I got high is integral because it is closely linked to the creation of this podcast.  The final segment is where Nia- Cerise gives her feedback to the shorter version of the story that I share. We then talk about God using our stories to impact others. It is hoped that you will be encouraged through this episode. This is another new episode of its kind with UK's Creative Denzel Sarks. The main focus is to share how they both feel about being:

 1. In quarantine.

 2. In quarantine and a recent grad. 

3. in quarantine and a recent grad and having little to no energy to work on their crafts.  

This episode also explores another side of Nasanta where we learn about her other interests beyond her faith such as culture. Being that Denzel has Ghanaian parentage despite being a UK national, and Nasanta is Jamaican, they each have an opportunity to exchange cultural information which gives insight into their backgrounds. Throughout this episode, they each share perspectives such as the impact of social media to a discussion about their realities of being black.  In time to come, it is Nasanta's desire to collaborate with other Christian Creatives worldwide.

This episode is the first international collaboration, and it is with UK's Christian Youtuber, Nia-Cerise Conteh, Crowned in Faith. It is a personal episode for Nasanta, as Nia- Cerise has played an integral role in Nasanta's spiritual development as well as this Ministry of staying "reel". Throughout this episode Nia- Cerise  summarises her journey with Christ while she encourages listeners to stay affirmed in their walk. She places much emphasis on God's grace to use us no matter how messy we might believe our lives might be. This episodes ends in prayer. It is Nasanta's belief that the shared words will also drive listeners to be more fervent in their walk with God.
