Nashville Bomber

Listen Later

On Christmas Day, 2020, at 1:22 AM, Anthony Quinn Warner, a 62 year old IT contractor drove his RV into downtown Nashville, TN. He parked at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Commerce Street, directly in front of the AT&T switching station. Sometime around 6:00 AM, he began to play the song "Downtown" by Petula Clark. Shortly after, he blasted a warning announcement over a loudspeaker telling everyone to clear the area. At 6:30 AM, the RV exploded with enough force to take out a city block. It damaged 40 buildings and almost completely destroyed the AT&T building. Thanks to the efforts of 6 brave Nashville, police officers, no-one was hurt and only 3 people sustained minor injuries.
Warner died in the explosion, and left behind a slew of questions. Why did he do what he did? Why choose that location? Did he have a grudge against AT&T? Was he part of a terrorist cell?
Join me for this very special episode of ParaReality as I break down the timeline of what happened and separate the facts from fiction and dispel some of the more crazy conspiracy theories that have cropped up during the aftermath of this terrible event.
