Hi loves! Welcome to a new bonus series of NaskoChats! I've always wanted to review my favorite TV show - RuPaul's Drag Race and here we are! I wanna thank my bestie, Saareen Junaid, for being my co-host for this bonus series. In this set of episodes, Saareen and I will review each new upcoming episode of Season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race, discussing queens' performances, looks, and overall storyline of the show. In this episode, we review episode 11 - Two Queens, One Joke. We critique and review the queens' performances in the stand-up comedy duo challenge and their runway looks - category is "Rip Her to Shreds". Hope you enjoy it!
Additionally, I wanted to bring a spotlight on the bigoted and ludicrous bill passed in the state of Tennessee banning drag performances and making it illegal to cress-dress. As avid supporters and reviewers of all drag and Drag Race, this bill has affected many local performers and reflects on a ridiculous anti-drag sentiment rooted in bigotry and homophobia.
Read more about the bill in this NYTimes: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/05/us/tennessee-law-drag-shows.html
Here is an opinion piece that I also found informative and well-written: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/13/opinion/tennessee-anti-drag-laws.html
If you want to donate and help support drag performers, donate to the ACLU Drag Defense Fund: https://action.aclu.org/give/support-drag-defense-fund?cid=7013r000001reowAAA&initms_aff=nat&initms_chan=eml&utm_medium=eml&initms=230307_dragdefense_appeal_sb&utm_source=sb&utm_campaign=dragdefense&utm_content=230307_lgbtq_appeal&ms_aff=nat&ms_chan=eml&ms=230307_dragdefense_appeal_sb&redirect=dragdefense

Hi loves! Welcome to the Second Season of NaskoChats! In this week's episode, my bestie Isa and I talk about our failed phone case business - WOKE Case, and our journey as young entrepreneurs. We mention our journey with starting the company, our motivations, what went well, and what we struggled most on. Isa (@isalitle && @shut0p) and I really grew from that experience together and we still stayed friends after the fact so it's even more impactful to our relationship and future endeavors. Hope y'all enjoy listening!
