Yes, with a new school year comes a new season and I am excited to hopefully bring more consistent content each week with many friends and acquaintances. In this week's episode, I talked about a topic that has been in my mind since the summer. I have talked about it to everyone and it's not something that I feel weak or ashamed about it. Career anxiety concerning my computer science background has been haunting me since the beginning of the summer because of the then-incoming and now current recruiting junior season in college. Here I talk about why I experience this anxiety, Princeton's culture on careers and recruiting, and finally how I have been dealing with this anxiety and my journey so far. Expect more episodes on this as this is a journey, not a one-and-done topic. If you are experiencing any sort of anxiety or other mental health issues, please seek help from therapists, friends, and/or family near you!

Update for the whole podcast! The coming episodes will be mainly me talking to the audience as I want to become comfortable with podcasting alone before bringing on guests once again.

This episode was a part of a project for my Developmental Psychology Class for my Spring 2021 semester. In it, I discuss many different topics related to babies and child development with my friend Jessica. Jessica is also a Princeton undergrad who took a Psychology of Language class the same semester, so I invited her to give me her perspective and create a lovely conversation where we talk about babies, which we love, and child development. In this episode we discuss our own personal experiences with development, especially focusing on how culture affected the way we were raised. Other topics that we mentioned were the natal development of the baby before it was even born, language development, cultural differences, parenting styles, play, and many more. It's such a good episode where we really share some interesting content if you are remotely interested in having a baby, love babies, and want to raise babies of your own.

In this episode of NaskoChats, I am actually starting a new series on the podcast that I hope to continue in the future - Story Time. 

My dear friend Saareen from Florida, who is the first storytime guest, inspired me through this podcast to share the stories of people. Saareen shares her story as a daughter of immigrant parents from Bangladesh experiencing a lot of discrimination, racism, sexism, and other values in a predominantly white school in Florida. A look of deep reflection and great conversation for Saareen to share her narrative with the world, one she hopes others can relate to.

What is Story Time? Story Time is a series for people to express their story of adversity, success, or any story of significance to them. The point of the series isn't really so much a conversation like my regular episodes but listening to the guests and letting them drive their narrative with me asking driving and non-pointed questions. I hope to let people's narratives, emotions, downfalls, successes, and much more come to light and hopefully find people that can relate to these storytimes. Sharing one's story is not only important but freeing and healing. We all have a story to share, mine will be throughout this podcast and many more episodes, but it's important to listen, absorb, relate, sympathize, and appreciate narratives of fellow human beings.
