Finally arriving in Ridgemunt, The Highest Standard speaks to a family about the state of things in the area and learns about the prophetic Silver Esper atop the mountain. They explore the last place Kiverium was seen and encounter a familiar face that puts them to the test.

With the town revealed to be one massive undead tree and the help of the paladin Efluis Etantia earned, the group does battle with the evil forces that have engulfed the area.

Our heroes stop in at a town along the way to rest, and find the small community to be generally welcoming. They spend the night regaining their strength and preparing to head onward.

The part runs errands and does some shopping in preparation for their journey, as well as gathers intel about where they are going. They head out on their journey to Ridgemunt where Kiverium is said to have gone, encountering trouble along the way.

Returning to Edregan to find out what happened, the group deals with a week of lost time. They discover that Aristo had in fact returned before, or at least an imposter claiming to be him. With news that Kiverium has been lured away by this imposter the Highest Standard aims to clear their name of wrong-doing by getting him back.
