Having been ambushed by the Bandit Lord Mirkwire and his kits'adria witch Scandal, The Highest Standard awakens in a pit filled the bones of discarded corpses. As they come to a voice calls to them from above to get moving and will meet them outside, and the group must fight through a hoard of gnolls.

The Highest Standard joins together as a guild in Summergrass, capital city of Mot. The group tells one another of their goals and hopes for the future, then meets with their employer who brought them together.
