49 - The Iron Mind Fund was created by Nate Kern in honor of his late friend Kyle Burkey, who took his own life in the summer of 2018. The fund helps progress mental health awareness and resources for teens and young adults through fundraising leading up to the IronMan 2020 in Lake Placid, NY. Nate joins the podcast to discuss establishing the fund, resiliency in the time of a pandemic and how to build your own iron mind.
