The Boise Dev released a story today that unveiled a sticky battle with an HOA that led to a felony. There was a man that cut a branch of a tree off from his own backyard, however that tree was on Ada County property meaning he might possibly be on deck for a felony. Margaret Carmel from the Boise Dev joined Nate to discuss that story. We also heard from Ada County Commissioner Ryan Davidson about his thoughts on the issue. Meanwhile, our neighbors to the west in Oregon, want to pass a bill that would ban the sale of kangaroo parts. They say that this is to prevent companies from making cleats out of kangaroo leather. That lead to the question: Have you ever eaten kangaroo meat? After that Nate briefly discussed baby's first ar-15. Better known as the jr-15, this rifle is being marketed to families as a way to safely train children on firearms. Schumer wants an FTC investigation into the company, saying marketing guns to children isn't allowed. To bring the show back around, the HOA tree issue actually started over whether or not the resident was allowed to have a bee hive in his back yard. Nate asks: Who likes their HOAs? Are bees a nuisance? (1/26/23)
