There is a new fund that has been set up in Idaho to help cover costs for minors who want to cross state lines to receive transgender medical care. Nate Shelman asks: Does Idaho need a law, similar to the one we have about abortions, that would prohibit transporting a minor across state lines for transgender care without parental permission? A few states, including Iowa, are considering laws that would ease up on child labor laws to help fill jobs. Do you think we should loosen up on child labor laws? Do you think children should be able to work in bars or with hazardous chemicals? Nate Shelman wrapped up the show with the court of public opinion. Today was the arraignment of Bryan Kohberger, the man who is accused of murdering four University of Idaho students. When asked how he plead, he stood silently forcing the judge to enter not guilty pleas for Kohberger. The prosecutors in this case will have two months to decide whether or not to pursue the death penalty. If Kohberger is found guilty, are you for or against the death penalty? Nate Shelman took your calls on that and then asked your opinion on a completely different topic. Who actually cares about the debt limit? We hear about it a lot, but is it something you are concerned about? To wrap up the show Nate Shelman discussed what the federal government, and three states, have agreed to do to conserve water. Now that NASA has hired Blue Origin and Space X to design lunar landing technology that this will open up manned space exploration again? There is a video circulating the internet of Meridian Police officers arresting a suspect while using force. One of the officers is seen punching the suspect. The Meridian Police Department has released a statement. Nate Shelman asked people who have seen the video to call in and give their preliminary opinions of it. In Oregon, twelve counties have now voted in favor of the Greater Idaho Movement. The Greater Idaho plan asks for fourteen Oregon counties to weigh in. Idahoans, do you still think Greater Idaho is never going to happen? What percent chance do you give it? In Idaho elections, the West Ada School District Levy failed yesterday. Why do you think that is? Do you think people are looking at better ways for school funding? To wrap up the show Nate Shelman discussed The University of Idaho wanting to acquire the University of Phoenix, and The Boise City Council giving $150,000 more to the law firm investigating the police department.
