Sen. Risch talks about the Lava Ridge Wind project and what he's doing to stop it. Sen. Risch also discusses the US involvement in Ukraine v Russia and how it could effect China v Taiwan.

To start off the show Nate Shelman played Senator Jim Risch's conversation about the proposed Lava Ridge Wind Turbine project. In the clip Sen. Risch shares his opposition with the Secretary of Interior. Do you think it is a good use of Idaho land, to use 144,000 acres for wind turbines that will generate power for California? State Senator Glenneda Zuiderveld joined Nate to talk about her opinions on the matter. After that discussion ended, Nate Shelman discussed a law that Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law that would allow the death penalty for anyone who is found guilty of raping a child. It will most likely end up in front of the Supreme Court. What are your thoughts? (5/3/23)

An Idaho Supreme Court Judge made a statement saying that he isn't payed enough which is why he is leaving. Nate's first question: Well, how much does he make? The answer: $165,000 Annually. What are your thoughts? If you are a public servant or volunteer for something civil, why do you do it? There is a ballot initiative that is being presented to the Idaho Attorney General. It proposes all primary elections be open and non-partisan. It also proposes that Idaho should do ranked choice voting. Do you think a party should be able to choose to have a closed primary? The West Ada School District has a $60,000 lunch debt. Nate Shelman asks: Is it the tax payers' responsibility to cover that cost? Do you think our community has a human responsibility to help out on those costs? Nate wrapped up the show by discussing a few other costly matters. ACHD spent $80,000 dollars on to re-brand themselves and The Boise School District wants to spend $7.9 Million on new practice fields. What are your thoughts? (5/1/23)

Nate asks for Idaho republicans to choose between wanting a March 2024 Presidential caucus, March 2024 Presidential primary or a May 2024 primary. Also, a few US Senators want to make being social media before the age of 13 illegal. Is this good government or bad government?
