There are two election bills that passed the Idaho House and will now move to the Senate. One of them is about ballot harvesting. Do you think that someone should be able to deliver somebody else's ballot for them, with their consent? It would get rid of all property tax except for bonds and school levies, add another $60 for the grocery tax rebate, however it would also add almost 2% to the state sales tax. This bill would get rid of residential property tax for someone's first residence, except for bonds and school levies. It would also add $60 to the grocery tax rebate. Ammon Bundy's campaign declared today that he will run as an independent and not on the republican ticket, but that there was no endorsement deal between him and McGeachin made. Remington has settled a $73 Million lawsuit with families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting. This is the first time that a gun manufacturer has been held responsible for a mass shooting in the US. The case was built on how the company marketed the weapon used in the attack. In a more local story, Meridian Police arrested a 16 year old student who is suspected of threatening a school shooting. What are your thoughts on these headlines?
