It seems that many Republicans are at odds over what to call the events of January 6th, 2021. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says that it was a "violent Insurrection." Many other members of the Republican parties are calling it something else. How would you label the events of January 6th? The Idaho legislature is also considering a bill that would stop all government entities, including school boards, from mandating masks. Ah yes, the grocery tax. There was another grocery tax bill in the Idaho Legislature that went no where. Do you feel that the Idaho Legislature has done enough to cut your taxes, or are you underwhelmed by this session so far? Keep in mind, Idaho has a $1.9 Billion surplus. Nate talks to State Representative Tammy Nichols about the grocery tax bill and a bill that would get rid of the vehicle emissions tests. Nationally many states are easing up on their COVID restrictions including mask mandates indoors and at schools, and even going so far as Iowa ending their state of emergency. Nate interviewed State Representative Tammy Nichols to primarily discuss the grocery tax bill that was presented by Rep. Ron Nate and was put back into a committee.

The Department of Justice is considering opening safe injection sites for users of illicit drugs. The Government is also considering putting together smoking kits that would includ crack pipes and other drug paraphernalia as a part of a harm reduction strategy. The Olympics are happening now and there seems to be some controversy over the events taking place in China. Are you boycotting or watching? In Idaho there is a bill going through the legislature that would make it so all driver's licenses have to show citizenship status. What are your thoughts? There is a death row inmate whose sentence has been reduced to life in prison. Do you think that the death penalty should be kept or gotten rid of, since it doesn't occur that often? Speaking of the push to cancel, Nate discusses a school choice event that was supposed to be held at the Basque Center.
