Verizon and AT&T have decided to put a pause on switching towers near airports to 5G in case it interferes with planecraft. Meanwhile in Boise, a homeless camp was set up downtown as a demonstration of how the homeless need help. Interfaith Sanctuary has announced that they are full. The Boise Rescue Mission on the other hand has availabilities at all shelters. Some homeless people won't stay there because of the no drugs and alcohol polocies at the Rescue Mission shelters. Meanwhile in the news.....There is a report that some people are trying to get Omicron on purpose just to get it over with. At any point in the pandemic have you tried to purposely get COVID? The Idaho Legislature was called into session this week. One of the bills introduced is to get rid of the faith healing exemption that protects parents who don't want to get medicine for their children due to religious reasons from prosecution if something happens to the child. Idaho has a budget surplus of $1.9 Billion. Would you rather the state put that in the rainy day fund, or would you rather get a portion of that back? Eleven people in the Oath Keeper group have been arrested for seditious conspiracy in relation to the events of January 6th, 2021. The other big national news of the day is that the Supreme Court blocked the vaccine mandate for companies with 100 employees or more, but kept the mandate in place for all health care workers. North Korea launched a hypersonic missile that hit Mach 10, ten times the speed of sound. At the same time that the missile was launched the FAA issued a ground stop for the Westiern United States, but hasn't said why. Are you worried about North Korea having this technology? What is your attitude towards the COVID pandemic? This question was sparked by a news report that said immunocompromised individuals may be eligible for a 4th booster shot. Are you fed up with the pandemic, or do you think that we should implement more restrictions? Governor Little wants to spend 11% more on education, which could lead to all day kindergarten for the entire state. Meanwhile, the Boise School District will start all day kindergarten district wide, regardless of what the legislature does this year. What are your thoughts?
