For the first time ever, Miss Nevada is a transgender woman, she will also be the first transgender to participate in the Miss USA pageant in the fall. If you are a woman, do you hold transgender women equal to you in every way? Should there be limitations on trans women in areas other than sports? The NCAA has decided that college athletes can now make money off of their names, images, or likeness. How do you think this will change college sports? There was a report put out that rated Idaho's education standards in US History and civics as inadequate. As an educator or parent, what are your thoughts? The Idaho State Board of Education have voted unanimously on a policy of diversity and inclusivity for all four year public universities in the state. It could be adopted as official policy soon as August. Brandon Durst joined Nate. Brandon Durst, who is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction, joined Nate to discuss his opinions on what Idaho schools should look like. There was an officer involved shooting in Boise this weekend. The case involved a fourteen year old child who had been kidnapped. There seems to be one irrelevant question that people are asking about the case. Gwen Berry, an olympic qualifying athlete, protested by turning her back to the flag during the National Anthem, should she be allowed to stay on the team? Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has said that federal marijuana laws are out dated, and may need to be removed. State Representative Tammy Nichols joined Nate to discuss how Idaho laws might change in reaction to that statement. Should cameras be in classrooms? It's Rant and Rave Friday! The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase joined Nate at the top of the show. Derek Chauvin has been sentenced to twenty-two and a half years in prison in the George Floyd Case. If you live in Ada County and are used to having a lot of fun with fireworks, be careful this year.
