We’re up in Manchester, Will’s former stomping ground. Although the nostalgia need not end there as we’re in town to visit The Whitworth, an Art Gallery where the young Will used also used to woo the ladies.
Laura tries hard to overcome her scepticism about modern art and it’s probably worth warning you up front, not all of the art world’s darlings escape unscathed.

We've chosen not to release an episode this week so we can focus on the ongoing discussions around the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Our voices are not two which need to be heard right now so we're going to take this time to educate ourselves and we would encourage you to join us.

It’s March, well it isn’t, but in this episode it very much is. March the 11th to be precise and we’re going to Kew Botanical Gardens. Good news for two reasons, you can’t actually go there currently and we’re in the peak of Hayfever season; so, hear the flowers with us and save yourself the sneezes.
In this episode things get steamy in the conservatory when Will gets handsy with the plants and listen out for about 4 million plane cameos.

This week we head back to the start of the year and Cheshire to take a good look at Beeston Castle, an Iron Age fort atop a very steep hill. Apparently, the castle is the hiding place of Richard II long lost treasure but all we found were some A-Grade toilet facilities, a delightful view and a replica Bronze Age Roundhouse; where volunteers Andrew and Jackie tell us what’s what.

This week we head back to February and our trip to Leicester’s King Richard III Visitor Centre. Now King Richard III has a bit of a reputation and Laura is NOT a fan, but will she change her mind by the end of the trip?
Listen out for contributions from the brilliant Jed the Just and Jan, who provide some legitimate facts, and the kind man in the cathedral.
A big thank you to the team at the King Richard III Visitor Centre too for letting us record at their venue.

In our first – ever – episode we take you to Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire on bright but blustery day in February. Blenheim, an absolutely massive and very posh house, is home to the Duke of Marlborough and just so happens to be the birthplace of one Sir Winston Churchill.
Listen out for some lovely cameos from Chris the Butler; Tour Guides, Mary Larkin and Kath Nathan; and the star of the episode, Will’s Nemesis.
A big thank you to the team at Blenheim Palace too for letting us record at their venue.

Welcome to National Treasures!
Tag along with comedians Laura Lexx and Will Duggan for a day out at some of nation's finest attractions. Castles, stately homes, ruins, art galleries and museums.
Listen as they stumble through muddy fields, hallowed halls and half-remembered historical facts.
It’s like an audio tour… only narrated by two idiots.
