There will be voting on the government's gun and hate speech reforms in federal parliament today - in the wake of last month's Bondi terror attack.
The gun reforms are set to pass with support from the Greens. Meanwhile on the hate speech legislation, the opposition has negotiated changes with the government on several measures - including banning so-called "hate groups."
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has declared those provisions will be abandoned if the bill doesn't pass today.
