January 09, 2022S2 ep.1 研究這個有什麼用? ——留學生的 existential crisis|本屆NATSA年會投稿截止日期為1月20日:https://www.na-tsa.org/2022-call-for-proposals「我的研究有什麼用?」這是一個研究生的千古大哉問——我們不斷地被別人問,我們也不斷地問自己,我們的研究價值是什麼?我們決定以這個幾乎是所有研究生都會碰到的焦慮來作為 NATSA podcast 第二季的第一集主題。在這一集中,我們討論了一些常見的文科研究生對於自己研究意義所產生的焦慮,包含留學生無可迴避的「做台灣研究有什麼用?」的問題,以及自己的研究題目對於社會有什麼貢獻的,對於學術研究是否能真的影響社會的自我質疑。滷肉在節目中分享了身為文科博班生是如何面對這些焦慮的,而滷蛋也從他的角度分享了理工科研究生對自我研究價值的看法。雖然這些都不是絕對的答案,但希望能對抱持類似疑慮的人有些幫助。節目的最後是「鄉民時間」,我們會分享美國的一些實用趣事。透過滷蛋與滷肉在美國與健保交手的各種(賭爛)經驗,這集的鄉民時間希望呼籲大家,在做研究之餘也不要疏於生理健康的重要性。提醒我們自己也提醒大家,尤其是在現在的疫情情勢下,不要用健康去換研究品質。...more51minPlay
