First day of the Cosmic Moon is also a Cosmic day completing the Blue Night wavespell. There will be three Cosmic days in this Cosmic Moon so we have all this amplified opportunity to discover what the Cosmic tone means through direct, doubled experience of it. Let the first day set your course for discovery of enduring and transcending presence, the indicators that Jose Arguelles chose for the 13th and final stage of our wavespell journey. There is book knowledge, there is listening to your Natural Time teachers, and then there is your own openness to the unfolding lessons that happen in your body, being, environment as they happen. This moon is special, rarified, taking us into the vastness of the cosmos. Feel the shift as the moon changes, greet the new energy with interest and observation.

6.23.21 - Day 9/13 of the Blue Night Wavespell * Crystal Moon 25

It's nearly the end of the Crystal Moon. The moon that's almost full will probably swamp us with an intensity that upends the true resolution we've encountered the last weeks as we work through this tone of cooperation and dedication to the collective. So try to grab your story arc one more time to see how it's come to completion. The themes of a Blue Lunar Storm year are identifying how we are different than others, while also have psycho-emotional breakthroughs that force us to not feel better than those we are clearly separate from in belief and practice. The ways we are different will be resolved, reconnected in ten years when we get to the Crystal year of this 13-year wavespell. For now we just own and identify where we are in the shadow realm and the light that our earth moon demonstrates in its phases. And we see where others live, occupy the opposite space. Use this full moon glare to look closely at your year's discoveries. Then the Cosmic Moon will come and take any logic or oversight away and set as adrift in transcendence, in being present, and enduring the tension of the next wave stirring deep below us.

It's such a time of amplified dreaming. It's not that we're adding daydreaming to night, but that our nocturnal dreams affect us so deeply they carry into the daytime. Then we're spellbound by the psyche for extra hours, until our time in waking reality is minimized. We see the waking world, too, through this dream reverie state. Each wavespell we find one wonder of the world to celebrate, immerse ourselves in. This one is sweet, since the whole capitulation to Mayan spirituality is already a dreamlike trance.

6.16.21 - Day 2/13 of the Blue Night Wavespell * Crystal Moon 18

In the Blue Night wavespell, our dream life spills into the daytime. This is ideal. If you follow the Mayan cycles already or for some duration, Blue Night becomes your natural habitat because the calendars we synchronize with are already leading us toward a life of surreality and imaginal freedom. Blue Night is like a homecoming for all of us committed to experiencing each tribe and tone as we pass through them. A time when signs and symbols float through our days - when events unfold with a strange magical and fantastical undercurrent - that's our normal, isn't it? Experience this wavespell as a way to watch how imbued you are already with this developed superpower: to dream while waking. A truest form of abundance.

6.13.21 - Day 12/13 of the White Dog Wavespell * Crystal Moon 15

A Crystal day in a Crystal Moon is the perfect opportunity to find your own understanding of the Crystal tone. The amplification will help the day be plainly illustrative of the core facets of the Crystal tone: to dedicate, universalize, cooperation - these are the words Jose Arguelles interpreted. I add 'gathering' and 'resolution.' Crystal times are wrap-ups, finishing stages, return to stillness and peace, even if the ending of the wavespell journey has a dark outcome. Often it is the return of light - the light source and the lifting of burdens, both.

6.9.21 - Day 8/13 of the White Dog Wavespell * Crystal Moon 11

The Crystal Moon draws us toward cooperation and dedication to others. It's a time of gathering easily, circling up, being in a crowd and finding all this socializing tolerable. It's fitting that in the Crystal Moon we see the end-of-school year festivities that bring parties and potlucks and large-scale group celebration. It's fitting that in the Crystal Moon we pass through the summer solstice and all the color-bright, light-filled outdoor gatherings. It's hard in the Crystal Moon to focus solely on one's self. It's possible to resist the mayhem of being congregated with other people and stay inward, but our attention - even if isolated - is on our relationships to others and the history we've shared.

6.6.21 - Day 5/13 of the White Dog Wavespell * Crystal Moon 8

The shadow of White Dog is that we are inclined to vie for our status in the pack, face off with those who try to out-alpha us, and either show our preeminence or get our ass kicked in the contest. Also the raw vulnerability of leading with our heart increases the possibility - or likelihood - that we open ourselves to attack, hard edges of life's routine meanness or else the sharpened blade of someone making a focused attack. I forgot about this side of the coin when I invoked how love-centered the White Dog time is. It's also got hatred, the antithesis of heart opening being an iron-clad wall, a steel fortress, or the shards of someone else's broken heart that they weaponize to retaliate against what has traumatized them. White Dog, the wavespell, can be a weave between extremes, a taste of each. If you haven't gotten to the pure love flow of being dog-like, of being the ambassador and embodiment of love and loyalty, fight for the open space and the nature vibe that invokes it.

6.1.21 - Day 1/13 of the White Dog Wavespell * Crystal Moon 4

It's the White Dog wavespell - a time to check in with your heart's strength and health. A time to fall in love or feel in love, and to find out how comfortable you are in all things that are heart related. It's a sweet spot in the Tzolkin schema, and yet if you have hardship or pain in this passage, it's only because you are attending to the heartache and heartbreak that has accumulated in your human lifespan. Your heart is your focus, your heart center is your only perspective for the duration, and it will show you what you need to be whole.

5.30.21 - Day 11/13 of the Red Earth Wavespell * Crystal Moon 1

The Crystal Moon enters at the end of May, with the reminder that May is always Spectral, as far back as you can find this month in your life history. Anything that happens between May 2 and May 29 is part of a breaking wave, so you can think of birthdays and memorable events from this time and recognize that they happened in a window of dissolving, releasing and liberation. I gave birth to my first child on May 25, 27 years ago. Trace your own karmic past and see what associations arise. Now we are turning toward the resolution that the Crystal tone represents. The wave climb and break are over. It's just the time for things to settle and move toward calm and stillness. It's a wrapping up of this arduous year, and the arising mood is peace.

5.23.21 - Day 4/13 of the Red Earth Wavespell * Spectral Moon 22

We are almost to the end of the Spectral Moon which is a lot like being almost to the end of our 13 Moon year. As early as it seems, you could start to adjust your expectations to what you can start or initiate between now and July 26 - not so much. Instead we just stay awake to the wind down, we take stock, we celebrate our growth and breakthroughs, we relax and let the summer season take us away. The Spectral Moon has undone some of the tension, the drive toward achievement, but it's not that we can't take action or get things done as the year concludes. It's just likely it will be refining, putting on the finishing touches, working your way to the end of something that has already begun. Enjoy that clean, cruise of a process.
