1.15.20 - Day 5/13 of the Blue Night wavespell - Resonant Moon 6 *

The Blue Night tribe, its wavespell on high, has varied interesting angles for reflection and synchronic occurrence in our lives right now. You can consider individually or an amalgamation of Jose Arguelles' terminology, the original Mayan hieroglyph and our modernized impressions of all these facets: intuition, abundance, house/home/shelter, body, the night sky, nighttime and nightmares as well as more serene dreaming. Life is but a dream right now, and then issues of shelter and financial windfall can also be interwoven. Note your own experience and add it to the list.

1.12.20 - Day 2/13 of the Blue Night wavespell - Resonant Moon 3 *

New cycles merge as we begin the Blue Night wavespell and Resonant Moon in near perfect synchronicity. These Tzolkin elements are also very alike, each representing psychic ability and experience. Your propensity to enter an alternate world that's surreal (above reality), dreamlike, seeing and sensing the invisible is going to be at a near maximum for the Natural Time year and current Tzolkin spin. See what you perceive, are being shown, and let that be an evolution on all levels: body, mind, spirit and heart.

1.8.20 - Day 11/13 of the White Dog wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 27 *

We have to slowly say goodbye to this sojourn of being squarely in our hearts - or is it circularly, with radiance in all directions? We don't have to leave all the avenues of love behind, but maybe the blind and devotional aspects of it. These are to be celebrated for their simplicity. We also end the Rhythmic Moon on 1.9.20 and can make small ceremonial preparations for the transit to the Resonant Moon. We are fully in rhythm now, set at a cadence to support the rest of our 13 Moon ascent and wave breakage. What patterns and habits do you see in place that indicate your rhythm that carries, supports, invigorates you? Make a note, keep it up.

1.5.20 - Day 9/13 of the White Dog wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 24 *

White Dog the wavespell is all about the heart. It's also about whom we love but more about how we love. So after a flurry of excitement over the indications of whom we love with our full heart at the front of the wavespell, the work at hand is making sure are hearts are healed and whole. This ends up being an exercise in self-love, and even an exertion. We may be out of practice or never actually learned. The absence of a focal external person or purpose in love means we have to reserve all this adoration for ourselves. Use this opportunity handed to you to dig into the realm of self-acceptance and -appreciation.

1.1.20 - Day 4/13 of the White Dog wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 20 *

The Gregorian year is always anchored in a series of Tzolkin days and a rotating 13-year wavespell. This podcast edition pays rare homage to the meaningfulness of the year 2020 - through the Mayan scriptural lens. Learn about the larger cycle of sacrifice that has been in play since the weeks before Trump's inauguration in 2017, and how we can have curiosity if not outright, audacious hope about this election year insanity being situated in the Mayan birth energy of Barack Obama.

12.29.19 - Day 1/13 of the White Dog wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 17 *

Deep in the western week of the Rhythmic Moon we are strongly called to everything from the literal pulse of music to establishing what works best for our body's health and attunement. And the White Dog wavespell begins! What could go wrong in a time devoted to being devotional, to puppy love - the most unbridled loyalty and attachment and open ardor and compassion? The only hardship of this span is healing old heartache, the cracks and fissures of old breakage that need attended care, so if you do hurt right now, trust it's a process of returning your love musculature to wholeness. Wait it out, endure the discomfort, trust your higher power who is your truest love of all.

12.25.19 - Day 10/13 of the Red Earth wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 13 *

Merry Christmas 2019 per Gregorian lore! You can reference this podcast whenever you want to reinterpret your holiday experience through a Mayan astrological lens. And also learn again about Red Earth, the wavespell, which is waning, and the Rhythmic Moon which crescendoes in the West and emotional turbulence/sensitivity this next week. Anticipate the Gregorian new years if you must, but situate yourself also in the upcoming White Dog wavespell and continued Rhythmic pace-setting for our continued Natural Time year.

12.22.19 - Day 7/13 of the Red Earth wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 9 *

It's very synchronic that in the Red Earth wavespell of acting like the earth itself we are all inclined to travel as if imitating the planet's orbit around the sun. Enjoy your own holiday journeys made easier by this happy accident. If Christmas and its commute to a family of origin homestay where in, say, the White Mirror wavespell - or Blue Storm or Yellow Warrior or Red Serpent or White Worldbridger - we would experience less fluidity. Instead, you can cruise along in car or plane and feel in deep connection with the earth everlasting glide through the solar system. Next podcast will post on Christmas and help if you need to untangle complicated feeling states about that heralded holiday.

12.18.19 - Day 3/13 of the Red Earth wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 6 *

The longer we're in the plant kingdom or elemental earth, the deeper we descend into winter darkness and short days, the less adept I am at vocalizing the Mayan teachings. So this podcast comes with that disclaimer. I love to try! Learn about why we're limited as described in greater depth, since that's what I found relevant to discuss. It's got some highlights that surprised me, especially talking about the present turn toward the Red Earth wavespell journey and the interesting side note that it's Donald Trump's antipode. Seems about right.

12.15.19 - Day 13/13 of the Yellow Seed wavespell - Rhythmic Moon 3 *

I gave myself a lot of bandwidth to revive the Mayan prophecy surrounding December 21, 2012 in this podcast. It seems worth a mention and revisitation since humanity is going to hell after all. There was a failed letter grade assigned to the Mayan prophecy, branded the 'end of the world' by media hype but in actuality a celebration of the transition between epic ages, the completion of one 5,200 year calendar cycle and logically the beginning of another. People judged: nothing happened. But look around. It may be almost 7 years to the date after that benchmark, but the augury of apocalypse is discussed on the daily - not in the rearview at all. Also discussed with some cynicism: navigating the end of the Gregorian year when you're a 13 Moon calendar believer. We're not even to the midpoint of the Natural Time year, and with the Rhythmic Moon upon us, we're essentially just getting to cruising altitude with a long journey ahead of us yet.
