This lack of accountability on the university's part has created unhealthy and frustrating dynamics that contradict the values I believed the institution stood for. When I attempted to address my concerns, I was met with agitation, hostility, and disrespect that seemed unimaginable, bordering on unconscionable behavior.

Despite recognizing the negligence and misconduct, I hesitated to take action due to the ongoing pandemic and my need to prioritize self-care and grieving. Unfortunately, this delay was used against me as the administration escalated their bullying tactics, seemingly regretting their initial invitation to me. Instead of upholding their commitments as an institution, they chose to vilify me while positioning themselves as victims, making it incredibly challenging to advocate for myself as a student.

These recent experiences have shed light on the difficulties of seeking support and navigating the complexities of university bureaucracy, further underscoring the need for reform and accountability within academic institutions.
