  • Is Vegan A Bad Word?
When we get too attached to labels and identify so strongly with an idea, person, or concept, we can become rigid and can lose connection with our body.
In this episode, we talk about veganism—challenging the misconceptions and stigma associated with this lifestyle choice. We explore how societal labels, from vegan to gluten-free, keto, and paleo, can sometimes limit our understanding and experience of what truly nourishes us. You'll see that the real focus shouldn't be on whether food is vegan, gluten-free, keto, or paleo but on how it makes you feel.

  • Walking 1000 Days With Teri Murray
In this week’s episode, we are joined by Teri Murray, the extraordinary woman with an extraordinary journey of self-discovery and transformation. She shares her unplanned, transformative adventure to walk five miles daily for 1000 days. What began as a means to clear her mind during the pandemic lockdown soon turned into an unwavering commitment to personal growth and resilience. Her journey didn't just end with her; it created a ripple effect, inspiring others to take a step towards their goals. We dive deeper into the power of community support and the positive influence of daily walking on mental health. So, get ready to be amazed by Teri's extraordinary journey, a testament to the fact that sometimes, the most powerful transformations begin with the simplest of steps.
    Who is Teri Murray:
Teri's relationship with health and fitness has oscillated drastically over her lifetime. She has gone from working out 3 times a day, teaching Yoga and Spin classes, and being in the best shape of her life to not working out, feeling depressed, eating and drinking more than she should, and being in the worst shape of her life.
But the change happened for Teri in the summer of 2020, during Covid, when she started a daily 5-mile walk to clear her mind from a break-up. That was it; she doesn't think she will ever go back. Not only did she get over the guy, but she lost 10 lbs, started to have non-stop energy, and began to crave healthier and healthier foods. She's in the best shape of her life and mentally in such a great space; she knows it's from her walk.
Teri's daily walk has evolved into a streak of over 2 years, 775 days straight, and has COMPLETELY changed her life. Through it, she has inspired those around her who witnessed her journey, inspiring dozens of friends who have started a daily walk or committed to healthier changes. And THAT has inspired HER to keep this going and continue to inspire and motivate others. Web: https://www.terimurray.com/

    More about Roslyn:
After 30 emotionally abusive years together, she and her husband called it quits on their marriage. The separation triggered a deep need within her to investigate the role she played in attracting unhappiness into her life and sacrificing her own needs for so long. Armed with a psychology degree and faith in her spirit team, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery. The separation turned out to be a blessing as she emerged on the other side of pain, embracing the lost part of herself and fully embracing unconditional love for herself and others. The deep levels of healing she undertook provided strength when she later received a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and while caring for her ex-husband until he passed away after his own cancer diagnosis.
Now, she aspires to help others walk a path to healing and wholeness, empowering them to love themselves and attract the kind of love they desire from others.
