We talk about the parts of motherhood people don’t post about — the hard moments, the identity shifts, the guilt, the healing, and the wins worth celebrating.

Whether you’re folding laundry, hiding in the bathroom for a break, or driving in silence after drop-off, this space is for you. You’re not too much. You’re just set apart.

In today’s episode of Navigating Postpartum Wellness, we’re talking about what it really looks like to invest in yourself as a mom—and how making simple, intentional decisions can completely shift your daily life.

From finally purchasing something that made outdoor walks with my kids easier, to realizing how much consistency comes from being supported, this episode is a reminder that wellness doesn’t have to feel hard.

      • It’s Never Too Late to Heal: Core, Pelvic Floor & Postpartum Strength (feat. Dr. Hallie Yanez)

Welcome to Navigating Postpartum Wellness — the podcast created for moms who feel like they’re doing it all but still wonder if they’re doing enough.

This show is your reminder that your wellness matters too. Hosted by Jaree Williams, a writer, speaker, and homeschooling mom of two, every episode offers honest reflections, practical wellness strategies, and faith-rooted encouragement for the mother who’s tired of the hustle and ready to align with peace, presence, and purpose.

Jaree Williams welcomed Dr. Hallie Yanez, a physical therapist and pre/postnatal strength specialist, for an honest and empowering conversation about postpartum recovery. This episode centers on core and pelvic floor healing, strength training safety, and nourishing the body during the postpartum season.

Dr. Yanez explains why core and pelvic floor recovery is often overlooked and reassures moms that it is never too late to heal. She breaks down diastasis recti, why it’s so common, and how foundational core work and functional strength training can safely begin as early as three to four weeks postpartum (with proper guidance).

The conversation also addresses postpartum depletion and nutrition, reframing food as fuel for healing rather than restriction. Dr. Yanez shares her practical “2-2 method” for meal prep and encourages moms to prioritize nutrition alongside just 10 minutes of intentional daily core work to support healing from the inside out.

This episode challenges bounceback culture and offers a more grounded, sustainable approach to postpartum strength, recovery, and long-term wellness.

        • Mom Life Unfiltered: Why Your Wellness Routine Isn’t Sticking (And What Actually Works)

Consistency didn’t come from doing more—it came from doing what actually matters.

In this episode, I’m sharing what shifted for me when I stopped trying to add more to my plate and started removing what was draining me. From delegating certain responsibilities to creating simple systems at home, I’ve been able to create more space for movement, better meals, and showing up for myself in a way that feels sustainable.

We’re talking about what consistency in wellness really looks like in real life—not perfection, not pressure, but small decisions that add up over time.

I’m walking you through how I built my routine starting with just water and steps, how I’ve now worked my way up to consistently hitting 10,000 steps, and how tools like the Habit app have helped me stay accountable without overcomplicating things.

You’ll also hear how I’ve made movement fit into my day as a mom—whether that’s morning walks with my boys, using a stepper at home, or setting shared goals with my husband so we stay aligned.

And we’re getting into the small systems that make a big difference—like simplifying mornings, prepping easy nourishing foods for the kids, and creating rhythms that support our lifestyle instead of overwhelming it.

If you’ve been trying to stay consistent but feel like it hasn’t been sticking, this episode will help you see what might need to shift—and how to create a routine that actually works for you.

Because consistency isn’t about doing everything…
It’s about doing the right things, over and over again.

There’s a quiet moment in early motherhood that doesn’t get talked about enough.

              You love your children deeply.

In this Mom Life Unfiltered episode, I’m sharing how I stopped the daily “what’s for dinner?” stress without subscribing to meal kits or spending hundreds of dollars a week.

After looking at HelloFresh, I realized what I really wanted wasn’t convenience food — it was relief from decision fatigue. So I built a simple meal system using the recipes we already eat, created rotating menus, and removed the pressure from cooking altogether.

We’ll talk about execution over perfection, flexible routines, and how having a reliable fallback can completely change how feeding your family feels.

If dinner decisions are draining you, this episode is for you.

                  • Finding Your Style When You’re Always at Home

In this episode of Navigating Postpartum Wellness, Jaree Williams dives into a topic that sounds light on the surface — but carries a surprising amount of mental and emotional weight: finding your style as a mom.

Especially when you’re home most of the time.
Especially when you care about quality.
Especially when you’re trying to be intentional with your budget.

This conversation explores the in-between season so many moms find themselves in — not dressing like you’re “outside” every day, but also not wanting to look like you’ve completely given up just because life happens mostly at home. Jaree shares the tension of wanting to honor the woman you are while still dressing for the life you actually live.

From letting go of fast fashion, to slowly building a capsule wardrobe, to the very real challenge of finding time to try clothes on in person — this episode speaks to the patience required when you choose quality over speed. Jaree also opens up about revamping wardrobes as a family, the mental load of constantly keeping kids clothed as they grow, and how easy it is for moms to put themselves last without even realizing it.

As spring approaches and closets begin to shift, this episode is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to reinvent everything — you just have to move with intention.

In this episode, we talk about:

                    • Finding your style as a mom in a mostly-at-home season

                    • Dressing for real life while still honoring your identity

                    • Why quality wardrobes take time — and why that’s okay

                    • Building a capsule wardrobe without pressure or impulse buying

                    • The mental load of seasonal transitions for families

                    • Learning to prioritize yourself without guilt

If your style feels unfinished… you’re not behind.
If your wardrobe is coming together slowly… you’re doing it right.
And if you’re learning that alignment matters more than trends — this episode is for you.

✨ Style isn’t about keeping up. It’s about alignment — and alignment takes time.

This episode isn’t about color-coded planners or perfect systems.
                      It’s about peace.

In this Mom Life Unfiltered episode, I’m sharing why getting organized wasn’t about productivity for me — it was about closing mental tabs and finally giving my brain somewhere to rest.

I talk about building simple systems that actually work in real life, why having one place for everything matters more than how you organize, and how creating digital and physical systems helped me feel calm, present, and prepared — not overwhelmed.

We’ll also touch on estate planning from a place of love (not fear), why I organize digitally first and support it with a homemaking binder, and how maintaining systems doesn’t have to be perfect to be effective.

If you’ve ever felt like your mind is carrying everything, this episode is for you.
