According to Prostate Cancer UK;

Movember is all about men's health and in this episode, my guests Emeka Onyereri and Henry Okechukwu who are prostate cancer survivors very candidly share their journey.

My hope is that this episode will encourage my black brothers to get their PSA tests done, open up to each other for support and start to have conversations they may find difficult or challenging. As the saying goes; 'a problem shared is a problem halved'.

Early detection of prostrate cancer can be the difference between life and death!

Awareness is crucial, please listen and share with your male friends and relatives!

Parents of children with special or additional needs are in my opinion 'super heroes'!

In the African culture, many of us do not know how to relate with children with special/additional needs or their parents for various reasons; the main ones being fear about hurting the parents feelings and ignorance about the child's special or additional needs.

In this frank episode, my younger brother Obumneme and I discuss parenting my handsome, smart and very special nephew and God-son, Chirolu who is on the autism spectrum.

I have learnt so much about autism and Chirolu just from asking questions and I continue to learn about the autism spectrum by reading up and watching programmes abouts it.

Let us not be afraid to ask questions and having those difficult conversations. In my humble opinion, ignorance is not bliss and we owe it to ourselves to educate ourselves!!
