Oh, I’ve had enough of this. Framing New Zealand’s issues in generational terms is in vogue. It’s nonsense, mostly. It’s possible – at times helpful, in fact – to have a certain tolerance for nonsense when surveying the political scene. This particular type of nonsense, however, is harmful.
