As followers of Christ, we are called to lean in to two areas: faith and follow through. When we decide to lean into what God can do, and we we take the step to see it through, we will see miracles and breakthrough in our lives. ______ Here at NCC, we have a mission to create Christ-centered, culture-changing community here and around the world. Racism is a sinful violation of God’s heart. It exists and has to be intentionally confronted.
At Northpoint, we have a mission of creating Christ-centered, culture-changing community. Creating is hard work. It is easy to live self-centered, but it’s challenging to live Christ-centered. It is easy to absorb culture, but it’s difficult to alter culture. And if we want to create real community (the kind of love and unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17), then we must have real conversations.
We believe that these cultural conversations will help give us all a better perspective, so we can more effectively navigate these tough times.
Clarrissa Stephens is the Connections Pastor at Northpoint Community Church.
