What does it mean to make Jesus your Lord?  As we have tried to explain what lordship looks like to our young children, we have started talking about the idea of Jesus being our Forever Boss.

Jesus should be the one who leads our path, guides our decisions, and controls our lives.  When we make Jesus our Forever Boss, we say that we no longer are in control.  We are declaring that Christ is Lord.
