Mike Riley’s hire at Nebraska ranks as the 23rd worst hire of the last 25 years in college football (from CBS Sports), not so much based on his entire record---but of what he was replacing and how quickly it fell besides one good year in year 2 

Scott Frost’s hire at Nebraska was on honorable mention of the worst---again, a terrible place to be---but there were quite a few hires and names on the list that reminded you of how bad things got at certain programs
