  • Necrocasticon Vol 2 Chapter 43

Welcome to volume 2, chapter 43 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network's podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection.

This week, your host, veteran journalist and podcaster and fledgling horror writer Token Tom Clark, is once again joined by our panel of metal and horror experts at Project Entertainment Network as we talk about the life and times of the late character actor, Bill Paxton. But you see, this week, musician Maxx Axe, uber fan Smoking Walt Hades and musician and artist Azriel Mordecai aren't alone, oh no. As our topic is one of great importance, we felt it required a few more panelists.

With that in mind, joining us, from our sister podcast The Curtain Jerkers, is movie critic and freelance journalist, Steve Mesa. Steve work can be seen in places such as the Miami Herald. But Steve isn't alone. Bill Paxton was so big, we brought a big time Hollywood screenwriter on board to help flush out our talk. That's right, we have brought back to the Necrocasticon one of our favorite guests, writer Mike Skvarla, the scribe behind the indy hit, Love in the Time of Monsters. From Weird Science to Titanic, from Big Love to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bill Paxton has been the go to guy in genre fiction and more on the silver screen. His career spanned nearly 40 years, and we're here to salute the man that brought life to characters as diverse as Private Hudson in Aliens, or the Dad in Frailty. It's an hour of talk about the man that was Bill Paxton.

  • Necrocasticon Volume 2 Chapter 42

Welcome to volume 2 chapter 42 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network's podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection. Host Token Tom Clark is joined by our panel of metal and horror experts at Project Entertainment Network. This time around Maxx Axe, Smoking Walt Hades and Azriel Mordecai are closing out Women in Horror Month by talking about the female bad asses of horror and metal.

From Sigourney Weaver's Ripley to Charlize Theron's Furiosa, from Kate Beckinsale to Milla Jovovich, horror has its share of bad ass actresses. Metal has had it's share of women you best not trifle with, like Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Wendy O. Williams and Doro Pesch. And what a better way to top that all off, than by featuring an interview with a true bad ass, Tabbetha Winner. Tabbetha is the vocalist for death metal band Winter's Burden. A death metal band with a female singer? Yes. It's not unheard of (Does Otep ring a bell?) for a woman to front a death metal band, and Tabitha is joined by the band's guitarist, Claudio Montano for a frank discussion with Maxx. But that's not all. Az has a Dark Funeral, Walt reviews Overkill's The Grinding Wheel, and Maxx Axe & Revelation 13 bring us this week in metal & horror history.

  • The Necrocasticon Volume 2 Chapter 41

Welcome to Volume 2 Chapter 41 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network's podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection. This week, host Token Tom Clark and our panel of horror and metal experts are going to New Orleans. It's almost Mardi Gras, and Maxx Axe, Smoking Walt Hades and Azriel Mordecai are heading to the home of horror and metal in the south.

We've enlisted the aid of a band in the heart of it, too. Lafayette, Louisiana's White Light Cemetery. Their sound blends Raging Slab with The Four Horsemen and a bit of Black Sabbath for a unique mixture that we love here at the Necrocasticon. Ryan Robin and Thomas Colley from the band hop on board our midnight train and talk their music, influences and the horror of the deep south.

Plus, Walt is Kreatoring something in the smoker, Tom tells us the over under on John Wick 2's head shot count, Az brings us a Valentines gift from Death in June and Maxx Axe & Revelation 13 have this week in metal & horror history.
