Need/Nah Series Part 1: Fitness Edition

In this episode, Coach Amanda and Coach Nick are joined by Matt Meyer and Maddie Myers to discuss various fitness topics in Part 1 of their Need or Nah series. They cover glute activation, mobility, lifting weights, Pilates, cycle syncing workouts, fasted workouts and contrast therapy. The group goes through each topic and gives a Need or Nah about whether it is required in the Fitness world and they joke and talk about each topic. Near the end of the episode Matt and Maddie answer some question from Nick and Amanda. They conclude by sharing their best pieces of advice and encouraging listeners to prioritize consistency and find what works for them in the fitness industry.

Maddie Myers is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor based in New York City. Maddie advocates for a departure from short-term, narrow-minded approaches to fitness and instead strives to empower individuals to find enjoyable, sustainable movement that enhances their life.

Matthew Luke Meyer is a running coach and personal trainer with years of experience helping athletes of all levels achieve their personal bests. With a focus on the marathon, Matty combines his knowledge in sports science with a passion for finding what’s possible with dedication and hard work. With a background in injury prevention and performance, Coach Matty has developed tailored training programs that have led countless athletes to success. When he’s not training or coaching, you can find him skiing or searching for the perfect crop top.
