Request – When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, He told them to ask our Father for “daily bread.” God meets our needs, and He does it daily. He doesn’t indulge every whim, but He promises to meet our needs in His time, and in His way.

Surrender – Jesus taught us to say in the Lord’s prayer, “Your Kingdom, Your will be done…” Prayer is more about getting God’s will done on earth than our will done in heaven. This prayer of surrender invites the power and presence of God in our lives. So powerful!

Confident Faith – Sometimes the righteous prosper and the wicked suffer. Sometimes the righteous suffer and the wicked prosper. That’s just the way it goes sometimes. We can’t look at a person’s circumstances and tell the condition of their heart. Faith holds on through the good times and the bad. Our faith defines us, not our circumstances.

Trusting Faith – Trusting God is a key part of faith. It’s easy to trust God in the Comfort Zone. Not always so easy in the Danger Zone, or the Confusing Zone. We’ll talk today about Abraham’s incredible faith during the most challenging times of life.
