Nerd, Ascended

Believe it or not, neither of us have ever watched Supernatural. So we're diving in head first with a new series: Nerd, Ascended Watches! Whether you're already a Supernatural fan or newbies like us, join us for a ride into mommy issues, a demon with a very specific agenda, and questionable pronunciations of the word wendigo in episodes 1 and 2 of season 1.

January 2020 may already be over, but there's nearly a full calendar year of exciting things to come in the nerd world! Join us for our top picks in movies, TV, books, games and even podcasts.

It's time for our yearly roundup of the best everything of 2019! From movies, books, games, TV shows, and podcasts, we cover our favorite nerdy things of the year.

Thoughts, controversial opinions and ramblings on the biggest nerd stories from the past few months - from Sonic's redesign to Robert Pattinson's perspective on Batman.

We sourced recommendations from our favorite horror expert Nichole to guide you on a decade by decade journey through the best horror movies out there - including the ones the two of us are too scared to watch.

It's been a busy summer in the nerd world!

*Note: Natalie's mic was a bit rude during the recording of the episode, and there are some places where audio was unfortunately lost. We edited around it as best we could, but apologies for any abrupt transitions!

Break out your tinfoil hats and join us on a winding journey through some of pop culture's conspiracy theories, mysteries and controversies. Who exactly are Rey's parents in Star Wars? Are all the babies on Rugrats actually dead? Does Disney World havea  secret jail underneath Magic Kingdom?

Trailers make us excited, Little Mermaid casting backlash makes us rage, and Lionsgate makes us confused.

*recorded pre-Comic Con 2019

* We unfortunately had some un-fixable dropouts in this episode - sorry about that :(

From the underrated to the overrated, what are our top Disney and Pixar films? It's nearly impossible to narrow down, but we managed - with very little princess and a whole lot of the mid-90s involved.

A boatload of updates from the nerd world, a boatload of opinions!
